    Community Life Bridge is a nonprofit organization serving Sumner County, TN seeking a high-energy, detailed-oriented and adaptive Program Coordinator to help grow a volunteer-driven assisted ride service for older adults. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the operational success of Community Life Ride (CLR) ensuring seamless development, program delivery, quality control and evaluation. The position oversees all volunteer drivers and riders in the program and works in coordination with the rest of the Community Life Bridge team to grow the organization. This position is an hourly position of 40 hours per week with the possibility of occasional night and weekend hours. The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Executive Director of Community Life Bridge.

    Program Coordination
    • Develop and manage the day to day operations of CLR,
    - maintaining systems, policies and records related to the CLR program
    • Oversee ride scheduling and ensure accurate collection of data
    - Assure requested rides are filled and drivers will be able to meet the needs of rides assigned
    - Review rides provided and any follow up as needed
    - Initiate and follow up on feedback from the drivers
    • Oversee program intake including home visits, verification of qualification for the program and accuracy of paperwork
    • Annually review rider qualifications
    - Verify Quality of Life survey is complete and recorded
    • Ensure that files, database records and reports are complete, accurate, current and secured according to HIPAA policies
    • Participate in program development, strategic planning and fundraising activities
    • Provide Executive Director required data for monthly, quarterly and annual reports and other
    information necessary to inform funders, participants and the community in a timely manner
    • Treat all with respect and adhere to Community Life Ride policies concerning Title VI and HIPAA

    Volunteer Supervision
    • Recruit, screen, train, supervise, and evaluate program volunteers
    • Develop and execute volunteer recruitment plans in collaboration with the Executive Director and Outreach Coordinator
    • Communicate with Volunteers to keep them informed of opportunities, changes, and important information regarding the CLR program and Community Life Bridge in a timely manner
    • Assist in coordinating volunteer recognition opportunities

    Requirements:
    • A degree from an accredited college or university, or comparable experience, is preferred
    • Minimum 2-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
    education and experience; experience working with older adults and/or volunteers preferred
    • Experience in providing social services, volunteer coordination and nonprofit program
    coordination highly desirable
    • Must have a personal vehicle, a valid Tennessee driver’s license and pass
    criminal and driver background screenings
    • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
    • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Experience with office equipment, including fax and copy machines
    • Strong skills in recruiting, organizing, coordinating, and managing volunteers
    • Passion for service and compassion for mature adults
    • Computer database experience and skills
    • Problem-solving skills with strong attention to details
    • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a diverse group of staff,
    clients, volunteers and stakeholders
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills including public speaking
