    Job Description
    Education Requirements > High School Diploma or GED > Mechanical Technician CNC, Machinist or Tool & Die Maker > Master CAM,, Surfcam, or equivalent 3D programing experience > Solid modeling using Solidworks, NX or equivalent
    Experience Requirements > CNC or WEDM operator for minimum of 3 years. > CNC or WEDM programmer for minimum of 3 years.
    Training Requirements > TS16949 / ISO14001 / CNC-EDM Baseline Training > Mistake Proofing Philosophy > Overhead Crane Certification > Forklift Certification
    Skill Requirements > CNC-WEDM setup, operation and program or equivalent experience. > Self-motivated, self-directed and able to make and meet specific goals in the CNC-WEDM Department > Willing to learn or possess computer skills including, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CAD > Able to do basic programing and willing to learn to be proficient at programing.
    Principle Duties and/or Responsibilities > Setup, operate and program using Master Cam and multiple machines at the same time, ensuring the machines are running efficiently and accurately. > Setup CNC Jig Plates outside of machines with multiple details in or to maximize spindle cutting time. > Work with all employees to continuously improve quality and production > Work with tooling team to ensure details are produced as required in the most efficient  fashion. > Requisition supplies and spare parts for CNC & EDM's and keep these areas organized > Maintain clean work areas > Available for overtime as required > Available for training as required > Suggest methods of improvement (i.e. Continuous Improvement Plan) > Interpret prints for tooling modifications, accuracy, &/or improvements > Work with designers to create &/or modify prints to reflect changes > Perform Preventive maintenance by assignment > Train other operators and programmers as needed > Prioritize work load to run as many un-manned hours possible
