Vendor Information ~ Presented by Portland Lions Club

Interested in promting your poduct? Don't miss your opportunity to be among the best arts, crafts, & food vendors from all over the state!  Space in limited and WILL sell out!  Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.  The application contains all information on fees, setup, schedules, etc.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST ~ Presented by the Portland Rotary Club

Pancake and Sausage Breakfast, ALL YOU CAN EAT PANCAKES! May 15, 7:00-11:00

Portland First Baptist Church Family Recreation Center (Gym)

Tickets; $6.00 Adults, $3.00 Children 6 and under  All proceeds will go towards scholarships, area charities and worldwide polio eradication.

 

2010 Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival™ Parade ~ Presented by the Portland Chamber of Commerce

Join in the fun as we celebrate the Strawberry Festival's annual parade. There will be colorful floats unique entries, marching bands, costumed performers, and pageant winners. Don't forget the CANDY! The parade route will begin at Freedom Drive and end at Portland East Middle School. Start time is 2:00 p.m.. Rain or Shine!

Construction will be stopped on parade day however, you may consider avoiding that area for viewing the parade.

Got Strawberries? Visit Strawberry Lane on festival day for the BEST berries around! Local farmers gather with the best of their harvest just for you. Don't wait long they sold out last year!

Love Strawberries? Make plans now to enter the Strawberry Eating Contest on festival day. This event is sponsored by Food Lion. There will be different age categories with prizes awarded to each age bracket. Please visit the booth on festival day located on Strawberry Lane (W. Market Street) to register.  There is no entry free. The contest will begin at 11 a.m..

STRAWBERRY JAM ~ Presented by Robin White and Disciple Productions

Come Jam with us at the end of Strawberry Lane you will find a hospitality area where you can sit and relax to some great performers. More information will be coming soon!

KID TOWN USA™ ~ Presented by the Portland Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the following sponsors:

              

                     

 

                                     

 

                       

A day of fun just for the little ones. Family-affordable entertainment for everyone. Join us on Main Street as we turn our downtown area into Kid Town USA! The Cost is $5.00 per child and provides unlimited access to the inflatables all day!

There will be several guest apperances at Kid Town USA including Ronald McDonald at 11:00am and Corey Brewer!  We will also have the privilege of watching local children perform several times throughout the day.

Kid Town will open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m.

DRAWING ON MAIN sponsored by Byrams Chapel. Drawings will be held at 10:30, 12:30, and 3:30. Tickets can be picked up at any of the banks in town, the chamber office, or the church.  You must be present to win. Prizes include gas cards, digital camera, notebook computer, flatscreen TV and more!

Concert in the Park

Tickets are on sale now for the Concert in the Park. The 2010 concert features Ronnie McDowell, T Graham Brown, and Billy Joe Royal.

Gates open at 5 pm and the concert begins at 6:00.

Tickets: $5.00 each

Kids 10 and under FREE! Purchase tickets at the Parks Department or online at www.cityofportlandtn.gov (go to the Parks Department section of the site)

 

 

Corey Brewer visits

Kid Town USA!

11:00 am to 1:00 pm

Brewer will be made available for pictures and autographs. Due to time constraints Corey will sign up to two items.  Donations will be accepted in lieu of charging a fee.  All proceeds will benefit the Portland Library.
